KAREN ELY's thirty year career in non-profit management — from domestic violence and sexual assault to drug prevention and welfare-to-work — has helped assist thousands of women through difficult life transitions. In 2003 Karen fulfilled a longtime dream of creating a women's personal growth program, A Woman's Way, located in Sedona, Arizona – now the premier women's retreat and workshop program in the country.

Karen is the author of the well-received memoir, Daring to Dream: Reflections on the Year I Found Myself published in 2006, which chronicles the end of her 32-year marriage.

In 2008 she published A Retreat of My Own, a comprehensive resource guide full of exercises, guidance, inspiration and referrals—everything a woman needs to craft and implement a ˝-day, full-day or weekend retreat.

It is Karen's hope that her books and A Woman's Way will benefit women searching for a path back to themselves, for she believes that it is the ultimate journey.
